Kalinda Wellbeing Centre

People seek counselling for a variety of reasons, and at different stages in their lives. There is no rule or set structure for when someone should speak with a counsellor. Some of the most common reasons are for treatment of depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, low self esteem or lowered motivation. However some of the clients at Kalinda Wellbeing Centre use counselling as part of a well-being and mental fitness program. They find their sessions with a counsellor helps them to maintain healthy mental functioning so that they can respond better to unpredictable life stressors. Whether it is a serious issue or simply something that you wish to address in your life, counselling can assist in clarifying confusion and providing you with strategies to help you increase your emotional and psychological well being.

All matters discussed with your counsellor remain absolutely private and confidential. Information will remain confidential unless you give written consent to release information.

During your initial session, we will:

  • Discuss your concerns and explain how counselling works.
  • Complete standard assessments to clarify your symptoms (depression, anxiety, stress, Post Traumatic Stress).
  • Identify your counselling goals and how we will work together to achieve them.
  • Encourage you to come back to resolve any concerns you may have during your counselling

Our service hours are:

  • Monday to Thursday 9am to 7pm
  • Friday 9am to 5pm
  • Saturday 9am to 12pm

The service is delivered from our clinic at 31 Maroondah Hwy, Healesville.
